About Centerville Borough

Located in the extreme southeastern corner of Washington County, Pennsylvania, Centerville Borough has existed for over one hundred years.

The Borough is bounded by Deemston Borough, East Bethlehem Township, West Pike Run Township, California Borough, Beallsville Borough, West Brownsville Borough, and the Monongahela River.

First settled in the early 1830’s, the Borough was originally part of East Bethlehem Township. On February 16, 1895, Centerville Borough was created from a portion of East Bethlehem Township.

Additional Borough land was acquired via annexation from West Pike Run Township on October 10, 1903.

Currently the Borough is comprised of thirteen square miles.
